This is a scened from one of my regular walks through Astria. 

A friend recently taught me the word "limutas"--relating to a sense of place. That is what I'm after--not just painting the way a place looks, but the way it feels to me. This is why Astoria is my muse. And this piece feels like Astoria. It is the sense of this place.
