This is my favorite kind of light in Astoria. Mixed light. Right after a rain. The street is partially dry and drying. Clouds and sun. And it's a street that's thought of as kind of gritty. Yet, it's beautiful. 

I think this piece says what it feels like to be in the magical town of Astoria, Oregon--the oldest city in the western United States.
