I painted this portrait of Stacy Abrams because I felt like the events of January 6th, 2020 interrupted millions of people who wished to honor her for her contribution in fighting voter suppression.
It's a hand finished canvas print. Hand finishing means I paint over highlights and lowlights to give it a contrast unachievable by even the best printing processes. It's then clearcoated and handframed. Comes wired and bumpered, ready to hang.
Patrons say over and over that these look like original paintings. While that's not the objective, they do not look like typical prints. They look handmade.
